True beauty, despite what the world will have you think, goes deeper than the eye can see. If you think about it everything has beauty but not all can see it. I just wanted to take a moment and express the gratitude I have for inner beauty that everyone holds.
This past Sunday while listening to music a lyric caught my attention "When you care more about living the way Christ did, that's when you'll know what beauty is." Never in my life have I heard truer lyrics. Make-up and clothes can make a person beautiful but you can't change inner beauty and it must be accepted for what it is. I guess you can say that I've just realized that pretty on the outside is by as important as pretty on the inside. I've challenged myself to focus on living the Christ did which will greatly help me later on in life.
Embrace who you are and the person you can become by living the way Christ so graciously did.
